The various different types of ribbons are as follows:
Textile Resin- used for printing on fabric labels and tags as the ink is suitable for all fabric label tag materials (Nylon, Satin, Polyester) and provides high resistances to textile cleaning processes.
RESIN- Provides High Resistance and durability and used for labels needing high resistance to hot and cold temperatures and are exposed to UV light, high abrasion environments and need to remain readable for many years.
WAX-RESIN- Provides Good Performance and Versatility. This is a combination of both wax and resin properties.
Wax - Economy & Quality. This is widely used in general purpose barcode label tag printing applications.
Color Thermal Transfer Ribbon
BarScan Technologies can provide color ribbons for both flathead and near edge printers in wax, wax-resin and resin formulations. Many of the colors ink barcodes are readable by barcode scanners. We offers a wide range of color ribbons including red, blue, green, brown, white, orange, yellow, violet and metallics.
